ALS Challenge!! TRY TO BE LIKE LINDA! 

Stop what you are doing, and sit down. For the next 15 minutes, sit without moving. 

 Here are the rules:

• It does not matter if you are uncomfortable or cramping, you cannot move. 

• If you have an itch, you cannot scratch it.• If your nose runs, you may not wipe it. 

• If you have a hair in your eye, you may not remove it. 

• If the phone rings, you may not answer it.• You may not speak – If someone asks you a question, you can blink once for YES, no blink for NO.

• You may not swallow, no matter how much saliva builds up. 

• If your granddaughter reaches up for a hug, you may not pick her up. • You may not feel sorry for yourself. 

• You may not become frustrated. 

• You must smile. 

• You must be grateful.

This is what my mother, and countless others who suffer from ALS go through day in and day out.

Please, take the challenge, and if you cannot muster up the strength to complete it, help us find a cure so we can put an end to ALS. We will be walking October 19th in Wilmington NC again this year. If you cannot join me in person, I encourage you to talk a walk for my mom
