Each year, I join this walk in memory of my wife's grandmother, Mary Lou. While I didn't know have the privilege of knowing her, I walk to remember her, and all those who have lost their lives to this awful disease. I also cover NC State for Pack Pride on 247Sports/CBS Sports and have seen firsthand the impact this disease has had on former Wolfpack players like Chris Combs and how rapidly it can change the lives of those going through it and their families.
Please consider joining me at the walk -- we will walk and roll together, united with wheelchairs and scooters, families, neighbors and friends, strollers and pets -- all are welcome! If you can't make it to the walk, please consider making a donation. With your support, we can make a difference in the lives of people affected by this disease right here in North Carolina.
