Welcome to My Personal Page

As many of you know, our beautiful Lisa was diagnosed with
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in the fall of 2024. During Caroline's visit to Solana Beach in July, they hiked Torrey Pines, played pickleball, and celebrated Lisa's 50th with many of her friends. Lisa was noticing some issues with her right hand, and after several months of testing, she received this devastating diagnosis. ALS, a progressive, fatal disease that can strike anyone at any age, and there exists no known cause or cure.
There is a wonderful ALS foundation chapter in San Diego that has been helping Lisa. Even though we live far from her, we are walking in solidarity with her to raise awareness for this terrible disease. We hope that one day, advancements in ALS research will make it a disease of the past. We hope to raise money for expanded resources and access to care for people living with ALS.
Please consider joining us at the walk - we will walk and roll together, united with wheelchairs and scooters, families, neighbors and friends, strollers, and pets – all are welcome! If you can't make it to the walk, please consider making a donation. With your support, we can make a difference in the lives of people across the country that affected by this disease.
Thank you!
Fran, Bob, Caroline, and Sam
