If you know me you know about my dear friend Amelia (Roxie) Shelton. My best friend of 20+ years passed away from ALS in 2010. We also lost a dear family friend, Nellie Westbrook, to ALS. Watching the effects of ALS on the people we love is heartbreaking. Yet watching this struggle has made us more determined to walk until a cure for this horrible disease is found.
