Thank you for helping me reach my Walk ALS Greensboro fundraising goal! The Walk ALS Greensboro raises funds to support the ALS community in North Carolina and to build ALS awareness to find treatments and a cure.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, talk, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, at any age and there is still no known cause or cure.
That's why I'm walking, in hope of finding a cure. This is my birthday month. I would love for you to contribute to find a cure for ALS for my birthday! I'm lucky that I was given another time around the sun.
