Love you, Dad.
Love you, Dad.

My dad, James (Jay) Edwards, was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) in December 2022 and passed away on September 11, 2025. You can read his story here: https://www.cityofoakscremation.com/obituaries/article-749

ALS is a progressive and fatal disease that robs the body of its ability to walk, talk, swallow, and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with
ALS averages just two to five years. It can affect anyone, at any
age--and still, there is no known cause or cure.

Over the past few years, there has been promising progress in ALS research,
along with improved access to care and support for those living with the
disease. We need to keep the momentum going.

Please consider joining me at the ALS Walk or making a donation. With your
support, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by ALS.
