This year, the Walk ALS Charlotte holds a deeply personal meaning for our family. Earlier this year, my dad - an incredible man with strength, kindness, and unwavering love for those around him - was diagnosed with ALS.

ALS is a cruel, unforgiving disease that no one deserves. To see it affect someone as selfless and strong as my dad has been heartbreaking. But in the face of it, we walk - to honor him, to support everyone battling ALS, and to continue to push to find a cure.

On November 1st, we will be walking as #TeamGarner, joining others in the fight to raise awareness and funds for ALS research. Every dollar helps fuel hope, and every step we take is for my dad and the thousands of others living with this disease.
