Walk ALS Triangle

Sexy Rexy's Racers

Dear Family and Friends,

Thanks to the Ice Bucket Challenge and our faithful supporters, awareness for ALS skyrocketed! We have never been in a better position to fight this disease and find a cure. We cannot slow our efforts, and we must continue the momentum. Thank you for your participation in the 2023 Triangle Walk. Please continue this momentum by joining my family for the 2024 Walk ALS Triangle which will be held Saturday, April 20th in Downtown Raleigh.  My family and I invite you to join Sexy Rexy's Racers as we continue the fight to find a cure for this devastating disease. This will be the 15th year our family and friends have participated as a Walk team. Our commitment will help us keep memories and stories of Rex alive and give meaning to his suffering.

Rex's courage and commitment will forever inspire us to continue tALS United North Carolina's vision of one day creating a world without ALS. His passion to serve others, his integrity, wonderful sense of humor, and unforgettable rendition of "Hound Dog" will continue to inspire us to fight against ALS in his loving memory!

Eternally grateful,

Bonnie, Taylor, Greyson, Philip, Will, Brooks, and Dallas

ABOUT ALS

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!
