ECU Baseball - Mustache March
As most of the Pirate Nation knows, the ECU Baseball program has been greatly affected by ALS. Former Head Coach, Keith LeClair, was diagnosed with ALS while coaching at ECU and later passed away after his fight with ALS. The ECU Baseball program continues to follow the mission, vision and characteristics that made Coach LeClair a tremendous leader, father, friend, and coach. Since 2016, we have raised over $75,000, it is our goal to fight to STRIKEOUT ALS in Coach LeClair's honor.
Joining the Pirates this year with be Pitt Community College - coached by Tommy Eason and Clemson - coached by Erik Bakich, who played at East Carolina under Keith LeClair and was teammates with Pirates Head Coach Cliff Godwin.
All donations go towards funding, supporting families, and research through the ALS NC Association chapter. Please help us in spreading our mission of STRIKING OUT ALS!

ABOUT ALS
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!
