If you know me you know, or have heard about, my dear friend Amelia (Roxie) Shelton. My best friend of 20+ years passed away from ALS in 2010. We also lost a dear family friend, Nellie Westbrook. Watching the effects of ALS on the people we love is heartbreaking. Yet watching this struggle has made us more determined to walk until a cure for this horrible disease is found.
