ALS robs people of the ability to walk, talk, eat and eventually breathe.

Someone is diagnosed every 90 minutes. 

There is no cure. Yet.

My friend and colleague (/former Guilford County's Teacher of the Year) and my daughter's teacher, Mary Luper, passed away from ALS.  

I want to raise $3000.00 to 1) support those who are diagnosed with support and equipment 2) fund research to find a cure and 3) Honor Mary Luper and all her gifts she shared with the students, families and colleagues in North Carolina Public Schools.
