Christ UMC
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, has impacted several in our church family, most recently, long time member, Connie Leonard. The Koinonia Sunday School class invites all church members, family and friends and community members to join our Christ UMC team to support Connie and others who have been impacted by this disease.
The walk on Oct. 26 is approximately 1.25 miles if you choose to walk. There is no fee to sign up for the event and show your support. Once you sign up, you can give a donation and/or ask others to support you with a donation. Those who raise at least $25 will get an ALS Walk T-shirt on event day.
Together we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by ALS. Our team is committed to raising money to support people in our community with ALS and spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure. Please consider joining our team in the Walk ALS Greensboro or choose a team member from the list and donate to our cause.
