Walk ALS Greensboro

Cotz's Crusaders

Uncle Tim (Tim Cotz) passed away on December 12, 2017 after a brave battle with ALS. Tim was so much more than an Uncle to me (Kelly), my siblings and cousins, he was our biggest fan, supporter, and confidant; and I know he was all of those things to so many people. Tim made such a difference in the world, dedicating his life to helping others, and now we can continue his legacy in our own way. ALS is such a horrific disease, and we walk to help find a cure, so no other family will have to watch a loved one fight this cruel battle. Please join us in finding a cure-donate, share our story, or come walk with us!

That’s why we’re participating in the Walk ALS Greensboro. To bring hope. To raise awareness. To provide resources and services to families free of charge. To help unlock the mystery of ALS and find the key to treatments a cure. Will you join us?

ABOUT ALS

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!
